<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional timepiece which can combine a timing function with other additional functions and improve the execution speed of the additional functions. <P>SOLUTION: The multifunctional timepiece includes an oscillator (12); a timer (14) which receives a clock signal from the oscillator to generate a first signal every elapse of predetermined time; signal generation sections (16, 18) which generate a second signal related to the movement of a user; a control section (10) which includes an asynchronous processor operating without synchronization with the clock signal, performs predetermined operations on the basis of the first signal when the first signal is received from the timer to generate a third signal, and performs predetermined operations on the basis of the second signal when the second signal is received from the signal generation sections to generate a fourth signal; time update sections (24, 26) which receive the third signal from the control section to update the current time; and execution sections (28, 30) which receive the fourth signal to execute predetermined processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
