<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rapid increase or the like in the generation power of a power generator by optimizing a magnetic field current value when a belt slips. <P>SOLUTION: A driving force controller for a vehicle includes: a power generation magnetic field current control part 303 and a magnetic field current restriction control part 310 for controlling magnetic field current of the power generator 7 according to a power consumption of a motor 4; and a belt slip decision part 309 for detecting the slip of the endless belt 6 to pulleys 2a, 7a.
