<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a snubber circuit closely to a switching element having an operation temperature higher than that of a switching element of an Si semiconductor. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus includes switching elements (130) configured to perform high-temperature operation and converts AC power supplied from an AC power supply or DC power supplied from a DC power supply into AC power of a predetermined voltage and a predetermined frequency.
