<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-speed communication by a visible light communication system and to suppress manufacturing costs low by using simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The visible light communication system includes a light emitting device and a light receiving device. The light receiving device includes a compound-eye imaging device and a microcomputer for control. The compound-eye imaging device includes one CCD 44, nine optical lenses 41, a stop member 42 provided with nine stop holes 421 for cutting unnecessary external light incidence, and nine band-pass filters 43 transmitting light in specified wavelength bands. When the light emitting device emits visible light, light beams transmitted through the respective band-pass filters are imaged in section areas on the CCD 44. Then the CCD 44 transmits an image signal based upon images formed in the respective section areas to the microcomputer 30 for control, which decodes the transmitted communication data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
