<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oligonucleotide analogues useful for the antisense method, and to provide an intermediate for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is the compounds represented by the following general formula (1) and salts thereof. (in the formula, A represents a direct bond, a 1-4C alkylene group, etc., B represents an aromatic heterocyclic group which may have a substituent, etc., R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>each represents a hydrogen atom, a protective group for an amino group, a protective group for a hydroxy group, a phosphate group, or -P(R<SB>7</SB>)R<SB>8</SB>[wherein R<SB>7</SB>and R<SB>8</SB>each represents a hydroxy group, a protected hydroxy group, a mercapto group, a protected mercapto group, etc.]).
