PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device with no exclusive linear solenoid valve for controlling line pressure, for compatibly attaining improved fuel consumption and highly responsive line pressure control. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device includes a primary regulator valve 203 for regulating line pressure PL as original hydraulic pressure of each part, and a selectively reducing valve 205 for outputting regulated pilot pressure to the primary regulator valve 203 to regulate the line pressure PL. The pilot pressure which the selectively reducing valve 205 outputs is regulated depending on the output hydraulic pressure of a shift hydraulic control valve 301, the control hydraulic pressure of a linear solenoid (SLS) 202 and the control hydraulic pressure of an ON-OFF solenoid (SL1) 204. The ON-OFF solenoid (SL1) 204 is changed over between an opened condition and a closed condition to abruptly change the line pressure PL. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
