PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear wheel steering control device which does not require an expensive yaw rate sensor, is hardly influenced by noise, and improves the traveling stability of a vehicle. SOLUTION: Lateral acceleration sensors are disposed before and behind the gravity center of a vehicle body, and a yaw rate differential value can be calculated on the basis of output signals of the sensors. Therefore, the influence of noise can be minimized without directly differentiating the output signal like case that the yaw rate sensor is used. Furthermore, as the influence of noise is small, the need of using a strong low pass filter or providing a dead zone is eliminated, and a phase delay is decreased so that performance for stabilizing a vehicle can be improved. A rear wheel is steered so that the yaw moment can be generated comparatively without a time delay. Consequently, the performance for stabilizing the vehicle can be further improved.
