摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-solubilized nanoparticles, while keeping light emission intensity, by solving the problem of remarkable decline of the light emission intensity by bonding a surface modification ligand to the nanoparticle core, whereas surface modification is required for water-solubilization of the nanoparticles and introduction of a reactive group with biomolecules. SOLUTION: This nanoparticle has a reactive group having a bonding capacity to biomolecules on the nanoparticle surface, which is a nanoparticle having as a component, a sulfide or an oxide including an element in the 11-th group of a periodic table and an element in the 13-th group of the periodic table. Otherwise, the nanoparticle has the reactive group having the bonding capacity to biomolecules on the nanoparticle surface, which is a nanoparticle having as a component, a sulfide or an oxide including zinc, an element in the 11-th group of the periodic table and an element in the 13-th group of the periodic table.
