PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier improving a purification efficiency of water, by stabilizing a generation quantity of active species by discharge. SOLUTION: A floating member 51 is moved in the vertical direction in response to an increase-decrease in the water in a storage tank 41, and a water purification discharge part 53 is moved in the vertical direction while keeping an interval with a water level L substantially constant by synchronizing with its movement, and discharge is performed toward the water level L.
