PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems on degradation of air-conditioning efficiency caused by accumulation of hot air near a ceiling and an upper section of audience seats caused by generation of temperature difference in the height direction in a large space in a building, and outflow of heating air to the neighborhood of the ceiling which does need air-conditioning, and degradation of warmer environment as the audience seat upper section is an air-conditioning space. SOLUTION: An air-conditioning device 3 is disposed at a lower section of the large space building 1 having living spaces 2 (2a, 2b, 2c) of a plurality of stories, an air distribution device 5 switchable between air supply and exhaust is disposed at its upper portion, a common air pathway 11 is formed between the air conditioning device and the air distribution device, the common air pathway is provided with an air pathway 13 to air supply ports 12 in a state of being branched corresponding to the living space of each story, a switch damper 14 is disposed between the branch sections, and an upper side of the common air pathway is connected to a discharge side and a suction side of a blower 6 of the air distribution device through each switch damper.
