PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle inspection device capable of inspecting sound/vibration in a short time. SOLUTION: This inspection device 10, which is a device placed in a driving vehicle, for inspecting sound or vibration reaching the vehicle inside, comprises: a terminal 13 connected to an on-vehicle ECU 11 detachably, for taking information including vehicle information on the vehicle 12; a high-speed operation processing medium 14 inserted into the terminal 13 detachably; and a microphone 15 for sending sound information to the high-speed operation processing medium 14. The high-speed operation processing medium 14 is equipped with: a function for storing a threshold of the sound and a threshold of the vibration determined beforehand relative to each vehicle, and selecting the threshold of the sound and the threshold of the vibration based on the vehicle information taken through the terminal; a fast Fourier transform circuit for drawing a waveform chart using the vehicle speed as the axis of abscissa and the sound as the axis of ordinate; and a function for adding the threshold into the waveform chart drawn by the circuit, and calculating the area of the waveform chart in a domain exceeding the threshold.
