PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate floor curing work and avoid damage to a floor when a heavy truss is conveyed during construction to newly install or remove an escalator. SOLUTION: A chain block 16 is hung by being attached to a plain trolley 15, and a hoisting attachment 17 is attached to the end of the chain block. The truss 30 is held with an anchoring rope 18 having a predetermined length from both sides in a balanced position, and the anchoring rope 18 is hoisted by the chain block 16 through the hoisting attachment 17 and hangs on the plain trolley 15. The truss 30 is hoisted by the chain block 16 through the anchoring rope 18 and hoisting attachment 17 by an operator 19 in charge of conveyance, laterally moved along the longitudinal direction of a trolley beam 14 by the plain trolley 15, and conveyed to an installation site.
