PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of preventing the lowering of a temperature of a recording medium even skew correction is carried out, and capable of performing high-speed recording with high quality by allowing liquid to be rapidly dried. SOLUTION: An inkjet type printer is equipped with a pair of gate rollers 22 in a transfer unit 12 for carrying out the skew correction by contacting with a paper sheet P. The pair of gate rollers 22 comprise a halogen heater 41 in a lower roller 40 for heating the paper sheet P by contacting the paper sheet P.
