Disclosed is an enteral nutrient for an inflammatory bowel disease patient, which comprises an active hexose correlated compound that can be produced by culturing a mycelium of a basidiomycete. The enteral nutrient can exhibit the advantageous effect of the AHCC on a cancer patient, has an alleviating effect on inflammation of inflammatory bowel disease, and is expected to exhibit an inhibitory activity on inflammation in a patient suffering from ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease to whom nutrients can be hardly fed orally. |
