The device has a sound absorber (3) e.g. hole resonator, with a chamber (7), where an external wall is partially extended in axial direction and is formed by housing (4) of the device. An insertion element is connected with an inlet and outlet port (10), and is screwed or heat sealed with the housing, where the insertion element is made up of plastic material. A sealing is provided in region of a screw joint (6) between the insertion element and the housing. The insertion element includes contact surface (9) suitable for an appropriate tool.
