<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus capable of coping with dual-mode transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In the fish bone helical antenna apparatus for a multiple-frequency band equipped with a bottom board, a helical chip, and a reverse L-shaped element, the frequency of communication between the bottom board and the helical chip is different from that between the bottom board and the reverse L-shaped element. The helical chip 2 has a fishbone type element structure comprising a conductor spirally wound around a dielectric at a constant pitch and an extended side formed on part of the conductor to extend the electric length.
