<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable flexible tube for an endoscope, without a risk of impairment of the adhesiveness between a blade and a sheath of the flexible tube caused by the elapse of using time of the endoscope or the moisture under the using (including cleaning) environment of the endoscope even after the endoscope is continuously used. <P>SOLUTION: The flexible tube for the endoscope includes a spiral tube, the blade covering the outer surface of the spiral tube, and the resin sheath covering the outer surface of the blade. The blade has a double-layer structure consisting of a metal fiber layer made of metal fiber and formed as an inner layer in contact with the outer surface of the spiral tube, and a resin fiber layer coupled with the metal fiber layer, made of first resin fiber and formed on the outside of the metal fiber layer as an outer layer. The resin fiber layer of the blade has an adhesive at least on the outer surface covered with the sheath, and only the resin fiber layer is bonded to the sheath via the adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
