<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor where excellent image formation is stably performed by excellently maintaining a conduction state of a conductive drum base substance with a conductive shaft supporting it. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photoreceptor drum, a shaft, and a conduction plate. The photoreceptor drum includes a drum base substance composed of a conductive cylindrical member. The shaft includes a shaft body like a round bar made of metal and a metal coating film formed on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft body. The conduction plate includes an engaging part engaged with the inner peripheral surface of the drum base substance and the contact part elastically coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the shaft, is fixed to the photoreceptor drum through the engaging part, and forms conduction between the drum base substance and the shaft through the engaging part and the contact part.
