PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reducing device of an internal combustion engine capable of reducing exhaust system noise. SOLUTION: The vibration reducing device of the internal combustion engine 100 includes a variable valve gear 83 capable of changing valve timing of an exhaust valve 8 and a vibration reducing means 40 reducing noise caused by exhaust gas discharged from a combustion chamber 6 of the internal combustion engine 100. The vibration reducing means 40 is constructed to include a valve timing set means S107 controlling the variable valve gear 83 to set valve opening timing so that the exhaust valve 8 is opened at a position closer to a piston dead center than when normal operation. With this, cylinder pressure when the exhaust valve 8 is opened is reduced, and therefore exhaust discharge pressure can be reduced and exhaust system noise of the internal combustion engine 100 can be inhibited.
