PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container which is excellent in an impact resistant effect and in which a buffer material can be contrived into an optimum shape according to the prescription of a cosmetic. SOLUTION: The cosmetic container includes an inner tray 4 filled with a solid cosmetic 5, a container body 1 where an inner tray housing recessed part 1a for housing the inner tray 4 is formed, and a lid body 2 for covering the container body 1. Then, the buffer material 11 for elastically supporting the inner tray 4 is disposed along the bottom surface 1c of the inner tray housing recessed part 1a of the container body 1. The buffer material 11 is formed of a flexible strip-like body, a bent part 11a or a curved part for changing a direction extending in a surface direction is provided on at least a part in the middle, and thus at least two parts extending in directions different from each other are formed.
