This invention relates to an adjustable brace (1) for supporting a building member (6) relative to a foundation (8). The invention also relates to a foot (4) and an elongate member (2,3) both forming part of the brace (1). The invention provides a relatively lightweight brace (1) particularly suited for temporarily bracing a concrete (5) panel (6) at an angle relative to a foundation (8).
