<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision preventing system for an electromagnetic induction type golf cart, which takes into consideration the excellent ride quality and safety of an occupant in addition to the reliable deceleration and stop when an obstacle is detected in an anterior part. <P>SOLUTION: The anterior area of the electromagnetic induction type golf cart is divided into three areas of a stop area 44, a speed reduction area 45 and a prediction area 46. As the travelling speed of the electromagnetic induction type golf cart is higher, the more distantly the stop area 44 and the speed reduction area 45 are set. When an obstacle exists in the prediction area 46, it is determined whether or not the obstacle also exists in the deceleration area 45. When the obstacle also exists in the deceleration area 45, the electromagnetic induction type golf cart travels while reducing speed. When it is determined that the obstacle also exists in the stop area 44, the electromagnetic induction golf cart is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
