<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network attack detection device and a defense device detecting network attack and avoiding an increase in delay time taken before a start of communication by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The defense device 1 includes an incoming short packet counter section 12 counting the number of control packets sent from a specific client, an outgoing short packet counter section 13 counting the number of control packets sent to the specific client and a control section 14 detecting a network attack by the specific client based on a ratio of the counter value of the incoming short packet counter section 12 to that of the outgoing short packet counter section 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
