<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery separator which is given high hydrophilic properties and lowered contact resistance, and moreover, is proper in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery separator 1 is formed of a compact, made of a compound containing synthetic resin and a conductive material. The surface of the fuel battery separator 1 is subjected to treatment with ozonized water of a concentration of 50 ppm or higher. When the surface of the fuel battery separator 1 is treated with the ozonized water of this concentration, ozonized water gives high hydrophilic properties to the surface of the fuel battery separator 1 and fully removes skin layer from the surface of the fuel battery separator 1 and lowers the contact resistance of the surface of the fuel battery separator 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
