<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system that prevents a voltage being applied to a voltage detection circuit from exceeding a breakdown voltage thereof when interconnection of cells in a battery module is disconnected, and prevents an overcurrent from flowing into a cell voltage detection circuit or a module. <P>SOLUTION: A battery voltage measuring circuit 2 for measuring the voltage of each cell is provided in a module, and in the battery voltage measuring circuit 2, a diode 3 for reverse voltage protection which connects an anode with the negative electrode of a drive power supply of the measuring circuit 2 and connects a cathode with the positive electrode of a drive power supply of the measuring circuit 2 is arranged in the power feed line of the measuring circuit 2.
