METAL NANOWIRE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AQUEOUS DISPERSION, AND TRANSPARENT CONDUCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal nanowire which can maintain transparency and electroconductivity and can form a transparent conductor, a method for manufacturing the metal nanowire, an aqueous dispersion which contains the metal nanowire and has improved storage stability and dispersion stability after having been applied, and the transparent conductor.

SOLUTION: The metal nanowire is made from silver and a metal except silver, in which the metal except silver has a nobler standard electrode potential than that of silver, and has a major axis of 1μm or longer and a minor axis of 300 nm or shorter. A content of the metal except silver in the metal nanowire is preferably 0.5 atom% to 30 atom% with respect to that of silver.
