PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducibility of the color of each machine body while ensuring a range of gradation that can be expressed. SOLUTION: This method for correcting the ejection amount of liquid when ejecting the liquid to a medium by applying the driving pulse specified by a command value, in common to drive elements of a plurality of nozzle rows, includes steps of ejecting the liquid to the medium by applying the driving pulse to the drive elements of the nozzle rows, to form a pattern for every nozzle; correcting the command value for specifying the driving pulse to be applied in common to the drive elements of the plurality of nozzle rows based on the pattern formed on the medium; and correcting the ejection amount of the liquid for every nozzle row based on each pattern formed on the medium.
