<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that measurement resolution is not enhanced by performing even interpolating calculation between imaging elements since a black-and-white reference line mark is hitherto imaged by a video camera. <P>SOLUTION: On this reference line mark M1, continuous black color density distribution is printed symmetrically about a horizontal line within a range of ±π with an X-coordinate =0 put therein. An axis of symmetry thereof coincides with a reference line G1.
