PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conversion speed of an analogue-digital conversion circuit of single slope type becomes lower since the number of steps of reference signal is required to be increased as a resolution becomes higher. SOLUTION: A comparator CP comprises a first input terminal which receives a voltage corresponding to the analogue signal that is to be converted into digital signal, and a second input terminal which receives a first reference voltage whose voltage level sequentially rises or drops, and compares a voltage of the first input terminal with that of the second input terminal. An output side terminal of a capacitor C is connected in series to the first input terminal of the comparator CP, and an input side terminal receives analogue signal Vin. After a voltage corresponding to the analogue signal Vin sampled with the capacitor C appears at the first input terminal, the input side terminal of the capacitor C is input with a second reference voltage whose voltage level rises or drops sequentially.
