PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paging control system capable of efficiently adjusting a paging area by utilizing gate passing information. SOLUTION: The paging control system is provided with: a detecting means for detecting that a mobile terminal has passed through a transportation operation area or a gate partitioning the inside of a facility where the mobile terminal is expected to stay for not less than a predetermined time from the outside; a collecting means for collecting gate information indicating a result of detection of the detecting means; a storing means for storing the collected gate information in response to the identification information in each mobile terminal; a searching means for searching the gate information associated with the identification information indicating a mobile terminal as a paging control target from the storing means; and a switching means for switching between an adjusted paging area to be determined in consideration of transportation routes indicated by the gate information or the size of a facility indicated by the gate information and a normal paging area, depending on whether or not the searching means has searched the gate information indicating that the mobile terminal has enter the transportation area or the inside of the facility.
