PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor required for carrying-in and setting a landing entrance device without degradation in operational efficiency for the whole installation of an elevator. SOLUTION: A landing jamb 2, a landing door 3, a landing door opening and closing mechanism 4, and a landing threshold 5 are integrated, and this integrated device is carried in and installed as a landing entrance device 1 at an elevator installation field. At this point, first, a dummy threshold 8 is attached to a support device 7 for supporting the landing entrance device 1, and the support device 7 is set at an elevator landing in order to locate the dummy device 8 at a predetermined position of the landing threshold 5. After that, the dummy threshold 8 is detached from the support device 7 located at the landing, and the landing entrance device 1 is located at the support device 7 set at the landing. Then, the landing threshold 5 of the landing entrance device 1 is fixed to the support device 7 in alignment, and, after that, the upper portion of the landing entrance device 1 is fixed to the landing.
