PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MCP assembly having a structure capable of preventing an MCP from being damaged when manufacturing and handling it. SOLUTION: In this MCP assembly 10 having the structure in which one or more MCPs 5, 6 are held between an input side electrode 4 and an output side electrode 7, an almost ring-shaped abutting face abutting on the surface of MCP to fix it is provided on the surface of at least one (preferably both) of the input side electrode 4 and the output side electrode 7 which faces the MCP 5, 6, and a segregating surface retreating from the MCP surface in the segregating direction is provided on the periphery of the abutting surface.
