PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support determination for a standby state and a freeze state in an information device having a user interface. SOLUTION: In response to a request from a user of an information device of a management object, determination for whether a state in which the user's general operation is impossible is the standby state or the freeze state is supported. A device management server predicts, with event sequence information reaching that state as a search condition, a restoration time from a nonresponding state and probability of freeze from past result histories, and reports the result, whereby the user's stress is reduced. With respect to an event sequence which is determined to be probably frozen by analyzing the result histories, a further detailed information collection request is broadcasted to management object information devices of the device management server, whereby dispersive and efficient information collection from a number of information devices is performed to solve the freeze state.
