PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an unpleasant feeling of a visitor at every age confirmation. SOLUTION: This age authentication system authenticates the age of a visitor based on a face image of the visitor who visits a store with an age limit. The age authentication system is provided with: an entrance camera 60a, an indoor camera 60b which pick up a face of the visitor; and a customer management computer 20 which estimates the age of the visitor based on the face image picked up by the entrance 60a and the indoor camera 60b, calculates similarity with a face image of a visitor whose age is checked, determines whether or not the estimated age reaches the age limit, and whether a face image with similarity higher than a similarity determination threshold is registered or not, and performs notification processing on condition that it is determined that the estimated age does not reach the age limit and the face image with high similarity is not registered.
