PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably discharge without reducing the discharge flow rate of scum exceeding a predetermined range. SOLUTION: This dishwasher is provided with a bubble generation means 7 for feeding fine air bubbles into a floatation separation tank 10, an air bubble generation amount adjusting means that adjusts the generation amount of air bubbles generated by the air bubble generation means, and a control means 5 that controls the air bubble generation means and the air bubble generation amount adjusting means. When the scum flow rate discharged from a scum discharge route 8 is reduced a predetermined amount or more from the initial flow rate when starting the floatation separation, the control means is adopted to increase the generation amount of the air bubbles by the air bubble generation amount adjusting means.
