The protection mat (1) has a dirt and moisture repellent surface, where the mat is formed as a foam mat from mechanically cross-linked polyolefin. The mat is designed as a rolling track. A laminated netting made of metal, glass, rock or plastic fiber, is provided. Longitudinal edges are provided with narrow side metal segments (2). Each metal segment is designed as an element of a hinge band. The mat exhibits breadth of 0.7 to 1.5 meters, length of 5 to 20 meters, and material thickness of 5 to 15 millimeters.
