METHOD, SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONTROLLING AN INTERACTIVE VIDEO SERVICE

A method for controlling an interactive video service is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a control request sent by the terminal equipment; acquiring an identifier of the Set Top Box STB equipment corresponding to the terminal equipment; controlling a media stream of the STB equipment corresponding to the STB equipment identifier according to the control request. Also, a system and equipment for controlling an interactive video service are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. By using the embodiments of the present invention, namely utilizing the interaction between the terminal equipment and the VOD system, the program menu browse of the interactive video service facing STB users and the on-demand control are realized. Therefore, the difficulty that a part of the STB users can't use the interactive video service now can be solved, without doing any great modification to the broadcast television network; and the users can finish the operations of program menu browse, on-demand initiating, and on-demand session control and so on in handset equipment, and have better service feeling.
