<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a setting vehicle speed with a vehicle speed limit when the setting vehicle speed is changed to the vehicle speed limit obtained from a navigation device during change operation of the setting vehicle speed by a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A running control device for a vehicle has: an operation means 2 for setting the setting vehicle speed when a vehicle performs a constant speed travel; and a vehicle speed limit acquisition means 3 acquiring the vehicle speed limit of a road on which one's own vehicle travels. When the setting by the operation means 2 and a change of the vehicle speed limit acquired by the vehicle speed limit acquisition means 3 satisfy a prescribed condition, a change means 1 annuls the setting by the operation means 2.
