<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium battery, which can enhance charge-discharge cycle characteristics of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for the lithium battery has an active material membrane formed on a current collector. The active material membrane is made of a lithium oxide, and has an interface layer formed on the current collector and an upper layer formed on the interface layer. The interface layer is formed, so that crystal axis <101> direction of the lithium oxide is perpendicular to the surface of the current collector. The interface layer, especially, is preferably formed relative to the upper layer, so that the thickness ratio of the interface layer to the upper layer represented by (thickness of the interface layer)/(thickness of the upper layer) is ≥0.01. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
