POSITIONING DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND POSITIONING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in a positioning result by appropriately correcting a positioning error caused by a propagation error due to the influence of an electric wave environment at time of positioning.

SOLUTION: A positioning server 10 includes: a positioning section 14 for estimating an area in which a mobile station is positioned; a propagation error correction information storage section 16 for storing a correct area determined by propagation error correction and a correct probability, when obtaining the result that the mobile station is located in the area for each of a plurality of areas; a positioning result correction section 12 for reading the correct area and probability corresponding to a plurality of positioning results, for calculating reliability for each positioning result based on the read correct area and probability, and for correcting the positioning result based on the reliability for each positioning result; and a positioning result output section 13 for outputting the corrected positioning result.
