<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system that prevents a client from leaving printed matter behind, which has been printed by being requested to a printer from a client device. <P>SOLUTION: When a terminal 10, connected in a communicating manner, to a composite machine via a network requests printing of the composite machine (transmits a printing job) with the operation of a printing instruction by a user, the request information is displayed as messages (61, 62 and 63) on a display part 16.
