<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily grasp the transmission time difference among packets even, under a complex network structure, without having to enforce expansion of a transmission line band, when correcting the transmission time difference between packet that occurs on a transmission line, in a receiving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a packet transmission system 1, wherein a packet is transmitted from a transmitting node 2 to a receiving node 3 via transmission lines 4a, 4b and a transmission time difference between packets is corrected at the receiving node 3. The transmitting node 2 includes a timer 23 for generating time information, time information PA adding section 25a, 25b for storing the time information in an empty area within a PA area of packet, and a PHY section 26a, 26b for outputting to the transmission line 4a, 4b a packet to which time information is added, and the receiving node 3 includes a time information extracting section 34 for extracting time information from a packet received via the transmission line 4a, 4b, a memory 35, a write control section 36 and a read control section 37 for switching orders of packets on the basis of time information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
