<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee an End-to-End communication quality in an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to a traffic received by an STB 11 in a user's house 10, the STB 11 measures a packet loss and packet jitter and redirects results thereof to a content server 16 that is a distribution source. Otherwise, an RTT is calculated on a side of the content server 16 using an RTCP redirected from the STB 11. The content server 16 determines a trace route to the STB 11, transmits to and stores in a user quality management database 18 network quality information indicating packet loss occurrence, packet jitter abnormality and RTT abnormality and trace route information, A network management server 15 refers to the user quality management database 18 to control a band control function of a network node 14 indicated by the trace route information, thereby improving the End-to-End video distribution quality over UNI/SNI. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
