PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic electroacoustic transducer which has enhanced sensitivity by reducing ineffective electrostatic capacity, to provide a capacitor microphone and to provide a method of manufacturing the electrostatic electroacoustic transducer by which flatness and processing efficiency are prevented from becoming worse in manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The electrostatic electroacoustic transducer has a fixed electrode 30 and a diaphragm disposed opposite the fixed electrode 30 across a gap, and a polarizing voltage is applied to one of the diaphragm and fixed electrode 30. The fixed electrode 30 comprises a fixed electrode plate 31, a fixed ring 32 disposed on an outer peripheral side of the fixed electrode plate 31, and an insulating portion 33 which is interposed between the fixed electrode plate 31 and fixed ring 32 and couple them in one body, wherein the fixed electrode plate 31 and fixed ring 32 have shapes 31A and 32A whose end surfaces opposite to each other swell toward the opposite end surfaces at a thickness-directional center part, and both sides of maximum swell parts 31A and 32A are joined together in one body with an adhesive such as an ultrasonic-light setting resin used for the insulating portion 33.
