PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise cancel type headphone configured to prevent careless abnormal sound generation and deterioration in sensitivity due to pressure variation generated when the headphone is worn on and removed from the head of a user. SOLUTION: The noise cancel type headphone comprises a baffle plate 3 which is provided integrally with a headphone housing 4 and has an opening, an ear pad 2 which is provided at an opening outer peripheral part of the baffle plate 3 to cover the auricle of the user, an electroacoustic transduction part SY including a diaphragm 9 provided at the center part of the baffle plate 3 and a magnetic pole vibrating it as a principal part, and a microphone 12 for noise cancellation that senses noise entering it from outside. The noise cancel type headphone has a sound tube 100 linking a space L1 covered with the ear pad 2 and the side surface of the face of the user to the outside to reduce pressure variation in the space L1, a sound wave taking-in part is formed partially on the sound tube 100, and the microphone 12 is disposed at the sound wave taking-in part.
