PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carrier cup for a planetary carrier, which reinforces the strength of the planetary carrier and reduces the noises of an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: The carrier cup is provided for the planetary carrier on which a pinion gear is mounted and which rotatably supports the pinion gear. It comprises a carrier plate having a carrier hole in which a carrier shaft is mounted and a plurality of pinion holes in which the pinion gear is mounted, and a plurality of legs extending perpendicularly from one face of the carrier plate.
