PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake which improve lubricant holding performance on an interface of the disc brake which prevents brake squeaking by arranging the lubricant on the interface of a pressing force transmitting route toward a pad, and efficiently supplies the lubricant to the interface without providing a penetration slit for holding the lubricant. SOLUTION: In an elastic coating layer 12 having a surface vibration absorbing performance of a second shim 11 interposed between a pad and a piston or between the pad and an outer hook of a caliper, a small partition gathering area 13, in which a plurality of small partitions 14 are arranged with predetermined space and a recess 15 is formed between adjacent small partitions 14, 14, is arranged, and furthermore a lubricant with fluidity is held in the recess 15 of the small partition gathering area 13.
