PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transition metal compound, by which a large amount of a transition metal compound can be stably produced, a transition metal compound having a sharp grain size distribution can be obtained, and metallic foreign matter can be prevented from mixing in the production process.
