PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a means capable of displaying image data in an elevator car while maintaining high cost performance. SOLUTION: When a remote monitoring device 11 reports occurrence of a confining accident, a central monitoring device 13 transmits the operator's image data shot by a camera 14 in a central monitoring room to the remote monitoring device 11. In-car image data from an in-car camera 7 is transmitted to the central monitoring device 13 via the remote monitoring device 11. The in-car display control part 4, which usually displays floor data from an elevator control device 1 on an in-car display part 5, displays the image data of the inside of the central monitoring room from the remote monitoring device 11 when the confining accident occurs.
