PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled type work carriage capable of stably supporting a working unit, and performing work while stably traveling even on a hillside. SOLUTION: The self-propelled type work carriage includes a traveler body 4, a self-propelled type traveler having a front wheel 24 and a rear wheel, a support 54 installed in the traveler body 4, a supporting frame 74 mounted on the support 54, a working unit 140 mounted on the supporting frame 74, and a supporting-operating means 110 installed at the tip of the supporting frame 74. At least either of the front wheel 24 and the rear wheel functions as a driving wheel, and at least either of the front wheel 24 and the rear wheel can be steered, Furthermore, the supporting frame 74 is freely turnably supported over the range of angle of≥180°with the support 54 as the center, and is freely shakably supported so as to provide≥5°angle of elevation on the basis of the horizontal direction.
